The MSA Scholarship Pageant celebrates the interests and achievements of high school senior girls in the fields of math, science, and the arts, while supporting them in pursuit of higher education.

No pageant knowledge or formal training required! The MSA Scholarship Pageant is open to all senior girls regardless of race, culture, religion, or size.

Our focus is on your intellect, talent, and confidence with a sprinkle of the pageant feel to make it fun and exciting. We are excited to present this opportunity to have a great time while raising funds for college.

The MSA Scholarship Pageant will take place on June 20th, 2026 and is open to current or graduated senior high school girls in Canton, Detroit, Southfield, Wayne, and Westland, Michigan. 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Have a GPA of 3.0

  • Have a total household income of $60K or less

  • Attend high school in Canton, Detroit, Southfield, Wayne, or Westland, Michigan.

Prizes

First Place: $5000

Second Place: $2500

Third Place: $1500

  • To apply for the MSA Scholarship Pageant, you will need to submit the following:

    1. Two most recent paystubs OR the most recent W2 form of all parents/guardians of the household

    2. The applicant’s most current report card or transcripts (GPA must be visible)

    3. A photo of the applicant’s high school ID card

    4. A photo of the applicant doing something she loves

    Applicants must also submit a brief essay introducing themselves adhering to the following rules:

    • The essay must be submitted in MLA format

    • The length must be no longer than two pages typed double spaced

    • No use of AI is permitted

    In her essay, the applicant must introduce herself by addressing the following:

    • Full name and age

    • Current high school

    • Activities and hobbies

    • College major/interested area of study

    • Colleges or universities the applicant has been accepted to or has applied to

    • Future career goals

    • Any community service engagement

    • A fun thing about yourself

  • The deadline to submit applications is May 1st, 2026. We will be selecting pageant participants by May 16th, so be sure to check for our email response then.
